  1. Beth, I love the video with the music. It is great for kids who are emergent or beginning readers, or ELLs, who are just learning their ABCs. Very cute, especially when the kids are able to insert their own pictures in the objects. I think if the video is to be done in a collaborative manner, the teacher could ask the kids to find their favorite letters and objects and place their pictures in slides. I feel that the kids would benefit if the texts were added. These texts would facilitate the learning of ABCs (and the letter-sound association). :-) Good job!

    I agree wholeheartedly with Dr. Hsu! This is an awesome photostory for young ELLs! I teach elementary ESL during the summers and I may wish to "steal" this idea. My first graders could create their own ABC books of their favorite things. This will get them to practice the alphabet while building some vocabulary!
